The vehicle is front wheel drive and sports a 1.8L I-4 engine with 140hp @ 6,500 rpm. The vehicle gets a hefty 28mpg in the city and 36 mpg on the highway.

The 2013 models exterior has not changed a whole lot over the years. At a quick glance, the 2013 Civic looks strikingly similar to its 2006+ counterparts, with minor differences here and there. The most noticeable differences are in the headlights, taillights, and front grille. Though it has not changed much, the minor tweaks have kept the look updated for 2013.The interior of the car is where the more noticeable changes have taken place. There is a little more room on the inside of the vehicle, and the dash is situated a bit more in the direction of the driver than in previous models. The top of the instrument panel has been elongated to fit in the navigation display. Some might say that this leaves the dash feeling a little more cramped than previous years, but that’s an okay price to pay for the extra functionality and information that is made available.
