Viper engine varied in sizes depending on the years. The first Viper had a V10, V8, 400 horsepower engine with 450 of torque per feet. The horsepower was increased to 420 in 1996 with 480 pounds of torque per feet then back in 1997 the engine was again upgraded to 450 horsepower with 490 of torque per feet.Over the years the Viper has come standard with Air/Heating, AM/FM and CD player.
