The Opel Vectra is a large family car that was engineered and produced by Opel, the German subsidiary of General Motors (GM). In the United Kingdom, the car was sold under the Vauxhall marque as the Vauxhall Cavalier and later as the Vauxhall Vectra, from 1995 onwards. It has also been sold by Holden in Australasia as Holden Vectra, and Chevrolet in Latin America as Chevrolet Vectra.The Vectra was introduced in 1988 as a replacement to the Opel Ascona and itself was replaced in 2008 by the Opel Insignia, which will retain the Chevrolet Vectra name for the Latin American market.

Base version of the car is available at Rs 5.35 lakh.E-TEC engine of Corsa is one of the fastest engines in its category. It is offered with variants - the 1.4 liter and the 1.6 liter. Both are microprocessor controlled Multi-Port Fuel Injected machines. The optimum power and torque of the 1.6 liter engine is 92PS/5600 and 126 Nm/3200 respectively. The 1.4 liter produces 88PS/6000 and 110 Nm/3200.Opel Corsa's McPherson struts front suspension and compound torsion beam rear suspension layout ensures a smooth and comfortable ride even on the toughest roads.For ensuring safety of passengers, the car has been equipped with accoutrements like Collapsable steering column, Anti-submarine seats, Child safety locks for rear, Drop away type Pedals, Anti-jamming doors, Crash sensor for auto-door unlocking, Rear windows power lock, and Engine protection Steel plate.
