The 2005 Chicago Motor Show marked the premie re of the new SUV by the so far unused Nitro name. It is the first vehicle of the compact class to be offered as a Dodge. This attractive car employs various construction solutions previously used in Jeep vehicles. The Nitro model features a permanent four wheel drive and a 3.7-liter 210 hp V6 engine. The series production of this vehicle is scheduled to start at the beginning of 2006.
