The 4-door Nissan Sentra sedan has been produced since 1999 in Mexico. In 2003, it under went modernization. The look of the vehicle was slightly changed to resemble the latest Nissan models, such as the Titan pick-up. The Sentra is driven by a 4-cylinder 1.8-liter 126 hp engine. A 2.5-liter 165 hp unit in the 2.5 S and in the sports SE-R versions, and a 175 hp plant in the SE-R Spec V version, are also available.
